Life is super unpredictable. When unexpected things happen, we tend to question God and wonder what in the world is going on. “God, why do you allow bad things to happen?” “God, why aren’t you helping me defeat this sin?” “What did I do to deserve this in my life?”
These questions to God aren't a bad thing, in fact, they communicate a deep human misunderstanding about the character and activity of God and their effect on human life. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to see again and again: If we offer our desperation to God in prayer, we will find him eager to listen, eager to forgive, eager to heal, eager to step in … and help.
